After five years of cruising the Bahamas and Keys I unfortunately must return to work full-time. I will not be able to cruise again until 2012 at the earliest so I have decided to put Sunset on the market. This is not a distress sale and if she does not sell I will be returning to the Bahamas hopefully in 2012. I have not been able to accomplish all repairs yet. Here is a list that will be updated as they are accomplished:

• Wind Speed/Direction instrument not working. I suspect a loose connection in wiring.
• Electrical module that diverts wind generator to prevent overcharging seems to not be operating. Cameron Murray with Trans-Marine Pro who installed it said they seldom fail and once again this may be a connection issue.
• Forward stateroom bulkhead doorway trim has small section broken off.
• Teak needs to be refinished.

Note:  Some of the Island Packet boats with aluminum holding tank have had them leak. Evidently the combination of human waste and saltwater can corrode the aluminum to this point. This being a very late model 380, the tank was coated at the factory with a resin lining, a procedure designed to alleviate this problem. Most of my sailing has been in the Bahamas and the holding tank was not in use. When it was used it was flushed with fresh water via the shower and it was pumped and rinsed at least every other week. I do not anticipate any problem but of course make no warranty.
